Unlike most vacation homes in the hill stations of India that remain boarded up, to be aired from time to time, Himalaica is a functioning home, with full-time staff, and a benchmark that says you will get freshly-brewed coffee anytime you walk in! Himalaica was created as a place to be, to pause and to reflect, to meditate, to remember and to forget, and to bring back the balance in our lives that is all too lost. It is often described as a place with soul, and with a spiritual, meditative quality – we believe this quality comes from the ancient temple that exists under a large oak tree on the premises, dedicated to the Earth God.
The petite cottage set on a single floor houses a small sitting and dining lounge, two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite and dressing area.
In addition, the guests enjoy access to the first floor of the Main Villa, which houses a large garden-side glass Conservatory, living room with fireplace, dining/meeting room, large kitchen, TV/ reading room.
Rooms are well equipped with heaters and/ or bukharis to keep you warm during winters!
The two bedrooms are bright and provide a snug escape from the regular life.
The cottage is ideal for 4 guests, however, with extra beds can accommodate 6 guests. The guests can enjoy the idyllic views of the forests from the cottage, which has it's own private sitting area.
