ABOUT THE PROPERTY

North of Corbett Tiger Reserve landscape, 31 km from Marchula. Manila Devi is situated on a ridge top at an altitude of 6300 ft amidst forest of conifers and broad-leafed Oak with spectacular views of the icy Nandadevi, Trishul and Panchachuli range of the Western Himalayas on a clear day, and overlooking the Ramganga valley. This sleepy hill top is one of the least explored in the Kumaon Himalayas appealing only to the solitude seeking nature traveller. Scarcity of water has insured that evils of mass tourism have stayed away and for a handful of sensitive nature travelers, Manila has always been a tucked away birding and fishing base.
