ABOUT THE PROPERTY
Located amidst the fertile fields of Terai that we hope do not disappear soon and hemmed by the legendary and extremely bio-diverse Terai forest, Elephant Plough is a no frill home of Pushpa Singh Ghosh and her 3 children, 4 dogs and a husband who is often away in the forests of Uttarakhand or North East India. A small veggie garden and over 30 varieties of fruiting trees and native flower bushes host to no less than 100 species of birds. The home is open to all nature travelers, students and eco volunteers who wish to explore Corbett National Park on 4 X 4 or explore the nearby forest of Powalgarh Conservation Reserve on foot or get involved in the numerous volunteering programmes well suited for gap year students and volunteers. Please note those who contribute to conserve nature will be given an ‘extra scoop of ice cream’.
Please also note that rowdy loud littering tourists will be shown the door with complete refund the moment symptoms are detected.
