Punjab Village Farm is a scenic countryside farm-stay, located a 90-minute drive away from Amritsar. The Farm stay is set on an actual working farm, surrounded by acres & acres of farmland and many small canals. It offers the best and most authentic experience of rural Punjab.
The Farm stay consists of four independent cottages with attached bathrooms. The cottages are built in a traditional village mud houses style however the interiors are well furnished with classic furniture and top-end mattresses, linen, lights & bath fittings (Note: We do not have TVs at the farm). Each Cottage has large windows for uninterrupted views of the fields, a thatch-roofed verandah, a front charpoy patio to enjoy scenery or winter sun, and a cozy backyard to view dusk lights. Our bathrooms are huge in size, lit with natural light throughout the day, and have a distinctive old-world charm. Despite our rural setting, we take utmost care to provide all possible comforts to our guests while keeping the rustic character of the farm stay intact.
We grow our own fully organic seasonal vegetables, herbs, and some fruits on the farm. Milk, ghee, curd, buttermilk, eggs, etc are sourced from the villages around.
